SICCAGNO TOMATO
It is produced in the lands of the municipalities of the Sicilian hinterland and specifically in Valledolmo, Sclafani Bagni, Alia Vallelunga, Villalba. It is called "Siccagno" due to its particular dry cultivation, ie without water. The plant, not being irrigated, is rustic with few fruits and relatively small, however the fruits guarantee a greater presence of organoleptic elements such as vitamins, sugars and antioxidants.
